Introduction

Promedeca Inc is an online retailer of custom-design hospital apparel and equipment. Its market stretches from North America to Europe.

Situation

Promedeca has been relying on its customers to place orders on the phone and fax. Expectedly, this process was creating unnecessary bottlenecks for its customers and staff.

The Challenge

To build a fully functional and scalable e-commerce website so that Promedeca’s existing and new customers could go online and browse and make purchases without having to call Promedeca.

The Opportunity

The Biztek Group was awarded the contract to build for Promedeca Inc, a fully functional e-commerce website that would meet the desired results. We were to achieve these results on a very strict budget, while meeting the timelines.

Strategy

We first studied the client’s business processes, after which we gathered and documented user requirements through random surveys. We reviewed some interface-design options with the client and came up with the most suitable interface-design.
We then went on to integrate the interface and back-end of the sites together. We extensively tested the site, after which the client also had the opportunity to test the site.

Result

The Biztek Group was able to deliver to Promedeca, a fully functional e-commerce website that exceeded Promedeca’s expectations in quality, timelines, and scope.
